Short answer: a standard ivory wedding marquee from JSP Wedding Designs starts at about £450 for a small 4.5 x 4.5 m tent and is around £1,200 for a 6 x 9 m marquee that seats 45 to 50 guests. A custom fabric marquee, with your own colours draped across the ceiling and walls, starts at about £750. The exact price depends on the size, your date, your garden or venue, and the extras you add.

Standard ivory marquee prices
Our marquees come in four main widths (4.5 m, 6 m, 9 m and 12 m) and grow in 3 m lengths. The guest numbers are for seated guests at tables. If you want a dance floor or a stage inside, choose the next size up.

Custom fabric marquee prices
A custom fabric marquee is the same frame dressed in your colours: draped ceilings, swags and walls chosen from more than 300 fabric colours. It is the most popular choice for Asian weddings where the marquee has to match the outfits and the stage.

What changes the price
- Size. The biggest factor. Price grows with each 3 m of length, so it pays to be honest about your guest list. A marquee that is too small feels cramped. One that is too big costs more and looks empty.
- Standard or custom fabric. Custom fabric takes far more fabric and far more time to put up, which is why it costs more than plain ivory.
- Your date. Summer Saturdays in wedding season are the busiest days of the year. Weekdays and quieter months can be easier to fit in.
- Your garden or venue. Access, slopes, hard standing and how far we carry the equipment all affect setup time.
- Extras. Flooring, chandeliers, chairs, tables, a stage, a light walkway or house lights are added to your quote one by one, so you only pay for what you choose.
The other parts of your wedding
A marquee is rarely the only thing you need. These are our current "from" guide prices for the rest of the day:
- Stages and backdrops (haldi, mehndi, wedding, nikah): from £200. Backdrop Hire
- Light walkways and tunnels: 3 m from £175, 6 m from £300, 9 m from £600, 12 m from £850. Carpet is an optional extra. Walkway Hire
- House lights: priced by the width of your house front, from about £55 a metre. A typical 5.5 to 6 m front is around £315. House Lighting
