OVERVIEW

Welcome to JSP Wedding Designs. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to JSP Wedding Designs, a full-service wedding and event hire company based in Southall, West London, trading as JSP Wedding Designs (also known as Soundwaves Lighting). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your booking and use of our services, including marquee hire, backdrops, lighting, walkways, wedding car hire, and any brokered services such as DJ, dhol, or luxury car hire arranged on your behalf (the "Services").

By enquiring about, booking, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not book or use our Services.

SECTION 1 — ENQUIRIES AND QUOTES

Quotes provided by JSP Wedding Designs, whether via our website, Instant Form, WhatsApp, phone, or in person, are estimates based on the information you provide and are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may be adjusted if your requirements change (guest numbers, services added, venue access, date changes, etc.).

SECTION 2 — BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS

A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and acknowledged by us in writing (email or WhatsApp confirmation). Verbal agreement or a quote alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.

The deposit required varies depending on the services and scope of your booking and will be confirmed with you at the time of quoting. Deposits are non-refundable once paid, as they secure your date and reserve our team, equipment, and services exclusively for you, turning away other enquiries for that date.

SECTION 3 — DELIVERY, SETUP AND COLLECTION

We will agree a delivery, setup, and collection schedule with you in advance. You are responsible for ensuring venue access, suitable ground conditions, and any necessary permissions (from a venue, landlord, or local authority) are in place for our team to deliver, install, and later collect hired items. Delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, poor ground conditions, or lack of permissions are your responsibility.

Hired items remain the property of JSP Wedding Designs at all times. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hired items beyond normal wear and tear between installation and collection, and additional charges may apply to cover repair or replacement.

SECTION 4 — CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

Requests to add services, increase guest numbers, or otherwise change the scope of your booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability and revised pricing. We will confirm any price changes with you before proceeding.

SECTION 5 — OUR LIABILITY

We carry out our Services with reasonable care and skill. However, we are not liable for:

delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (severe weather, venue access issues, traffic, third-party supplier failures for brokered services such as DJ or dhol);
indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

SECTION 6 — THIRD-PARTY AND BROKERED SERVICES

Where we arrange third-party services on your behalf (such as DJ, dhol, or luxury car hire beyond our own fleet), we act as a broker only. The contract for that specific service is between you and the third-party supplier, and we are not liable for their performance, though we will assist in resolving any issues where reasonably possible.

SECTION 9 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.

SECTION 10 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
